Food for thought
We believe in nourishing the whole child - from the inside out. The saying ‘you are what you eat’ has never held truer than it does with us!

We are a vegetarian nursery and this was a choice we made in line with our respect and care for the environment and all living things, which is central to everything we do.

Children bring a packed lunch from home, supporting our outdoor-focused approach and giving families the opportunity to provide familiar, nourishing meals. Meals are enjoyed together in both in the classroom and nature, fostering a sense of community and encouraging mindful eating.

We are able to cater for dietary requirements so don’t hesitate to discuss this with us when you come and visit.

Freshly prepared meals will be provided by our cook; where possible the ingredients will be organic. We will be guided by you, as parents, in how you would like us to support this. We provide breakfast, mid-morning snacks, afternoon snacks and supper. Meals are shared together around a low-level table to encourage social skills.

Typical Meals

What our Parents say...

“It will be really emotional seeing our last little one make his way through Woodland Wanderers as it has been a big part of our lives for the past 6 years (can’tbelieve it) and he has been very happy.  So thank you.
."

What our Parents say...

My husband and I, just wanted to say a huge thank you so much for all the WW team for all your brilliant potty-training support over the past two weeks. He is feeling super confident and we are so proud of him.

What our Parents say...

Thanks so much to the Woodland Wanderers team for their support in potty training my son. He has attended since he was a baby, starting off at WT and then transitioned happily to WW. I know we got the best result because he was completely ready. From my perspective, it happened very naturally and it felt very easy – in fact we skipped the whole potty bit and he was very comfortable and confident using the toilet.
