Our Vibrant Community
Here on Myddleton Road we nurture children’s holistic development by offering real-world experiences such as pumping tyres in the bike shop, serving customers in the local cafe, taking care of delicate items in the antique shop, sanding wood outside a hardware shop, helping rinse hair at a salon, or threading a needle with a seamstress.

These real-life experiences develop essential practical life skills and are just some of the community-based work experience opportunities made possible through our valued partnerships with local businesses.

Outdoor Learning
Our outdoor learning nurtures curiosity, resilience, and a deep connection to the natural world through hands-on, real-life experiences.
Creativity
Salt dough and exploratory clay, watercolours
Tennis
Our children take a short walk to the local tennis club for small group tennis sessions, developing their physical skills and hand eye coordination

Food for Thought
We believe in nourishing the whole child - from the inside out. The saying ‘you are what you eat’ has never held truer than it does with us! we embrace a vegetarian approach, reflecting our deep respect and care for the environment and all living beings. This philosophy is at the heart of everything we do, guiding us as we nurture both plants and community.
We are committed to nurturing young minds and bodies with a colorful array of plant-based goodness. Our menu is thoughtfully crafted to support your child’s growth and well-being, offering a vibrant ‘rainbow’ of flavors and nutrients. We are proud to align with the EYFS guidelines, ensuring balanced meals that bolster immunity, enhance digestion, and lower disease risk.
By focusing on diverse plant sources and reducing ultra-processed foods, we’re not only nourishing children but also paving the way for a more sustainable future. Together, let’s cultivate healthy habits that benefit our children and our planet.
Children bring a packed lunch from home, and we provide a freshly cooked breakfast and tea. All meals, can be enjoyed together both in the classroom and nature.
Water is available for children at all times and we can cater for dietary requirements so don’t hesitate to discuss this with us when you come and visit.

What our Parents say...
“It will be really emotional seeing our last little one make his way through Woodland Wanderers as it has been a big part of our lives for the past 6 years (can’tbelieve it) and he has been very happy. So thank you.

What our Parents say...
My husband and I, just wanted to say a huge thank you so much for all the WW team for all your brilliant potty-training support over the past two weeks. He is feeling super confident and we are so proud of him.
What our Parents say...
Thanks so much to the Woodland Wanderers team for their support in potty training my son. He has attended since he was a baby, starting off at WT and then transitioned happily to WW. I know we got the best result because he was completely ready. From my perspective, it happened very naturally and it felt very easy – in fact we skipped the whole potty bit and he was very comfortable and confident using the toilet.
