What's on offer
1
Montessori Classroom
Our Woodland Wanderers Montessori classroom is expertly designed for toddlers from 2 years to 5 years old, when they will be ready to progress to school. The environment has been fully thoughout to offer a natural and holistic experience. Children are encouraged to explore, move freely, and connect deeply with nature through purposeful play. Every corner of the space is crafted to nurture independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
2
Forest School
Our Forest School curriculum inspires children to connect with nature through outdoor play and exploration. In woodland settings, they build confidence, creativity, and resilience while developing key skills through hands-on learning. This child-led approach nurtures curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love for the natural world.
3
Community Focus
We encourage curiosity, creativity, and responsibility, helping children develop the skills and values to become future environmental stewards. Through these meaningful interactions with nature, our young learners build a foundation for a lifetime of sustainability, compassion, and respect for the planet. e foster eco-conscious values, empowering children to understand and care for the environment, promoting a sustainable future from an early age.
Little Hands, Wise Hearts
Shared Wisdom, Shared Wonder
When little hands meet wise hearts, something truly magical happens. Intergenerational experiences in the early years nurture empathy, respect, and a strong sense of community, as children form meaningful experiences with older generations. As part of our enriched early years curriculum, we maintain a close partnership with our neighbours, Riverside Care Home, offering children valuable intergenerational learning opportunities that nurture empathy and connection.
From storytelling to planting seeds side by side, these moments build empathy, joy, and a sense of belonging for everyone involved. The children learn patience and respect; the elders feel valued and uplifted.

Together, they remind us of the power of connection.

Food for thought
We believe in nourishing the whole child - from the inside out. The saying ‘you are what you eat’ has never held truer than it does with us!
We are a vegetarian nursery and this was a choice we made in line with our respect and care for the environment and all living things, which is central to everything we do.
Children bring a packed lunch from home, supporting our outdoor-focused approach and giving families the opportunity to provide familiar, nourishing meals. Meals are enjoyed together in both in the classroom and nature, fostering a sense of community and encouraging mindful eating.
We are able to cater for dietary requirements so don’t hesitate to discuss this with us when you come and visit. We provide breakfast, mid-morning snacks and afternoon snacks. Meals are shared together around a low-level table to encourage social skills.
